Visualizing the future of this educationally backword malwa region of punjab. Dr. Walaiti Ram Bansal, a great visionary and educationist, founded SSD GIRLS'COLLEGE in 1966 which was his first step towards a journey of thousand miles. The world of today is experiencing important changes in every walk of life and the role of women is of all most importance
To keep women of the region in pace with the present era of computers, technical education and globalised bussiness enviornment there was an apparent need for an institute which could provide professional and vocational traninig.
In order to meet this requirement, under the same management, shri Sanatam Dharam Women's Institute of Tecnology was founded by Dr. Walaiti Ram Bansal in 1997 another mile stone in our journey towards enlightenment.
Since its inception in 1997, SSDWIT is striving to give quality education to students through its several affiliated courses.
